Palmetto Mustang Varsity Takes the Win

Faith Bowen didn’t allow a single run against Crescent, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Palmetto Mustangs Varsity to a 4-0 victory on Monday
In the first inning, Palmetto Mustangs Varsity got their offense started. Gracie Williams singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
One bright spot for Crescent was a double by Davis in the first inning.
Bowen got the win for Palmetto Mustangs Varsity. She surrendered zero runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out six and walking zero.
Dove took the loss for Crescent. She went four innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out two and walking zero.
Davis started the game for Crescent. She surrendered three runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out one and walking zero.
Palmetto Mustangs Varsity saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game. Williams and Kenley Powell each had multiple hits for Palmetto Mustangs Varsity. Powell and Williams all had two hits to lead Palmetto Mustangs Varsity. Palmetto Mustangs Varsity was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Powell made the most plays with eight.
Crescent racked up seven hits in the game. Davis and Dove all managed multiple hits for Crescent. Davis led Crescent with three hits in four at bats.
